Lung Cancer

My mother died of non-small cell lung cancer a little over 3 years ago. My dad and I were her primary caregivers until she died at home. My dad continued to smoke and now he has recently been diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer He is currently in the hospital with a chest tube undergoing a pleurodesis procedure. He has lost over 40 pounds, is having memory lapses, barely eats, has severe fatigue and weakness - and yet he is still holding out hope to try chemotherapy
