Fear of Failure

Post a new topicby Care4UrMind on Thu May 15, 2008 8:53 pm

I have a great idea for a business, but I always get stopped by my fear that I'll fail. Anyone have any advice for how to get over that?

I think your fear of failing comes from the fear of being judged, by yourself, and by others. Sometimes that fear can prevent you from even trying at all, because if you don't try at all, you will not risk the chance of not succeeding, and having to be judged for that, right?!
Look, if you don't try things out, you are going to be one of those people who spend their lives wondering how things could have turned out. Let's face it, unless your business plan involves a hughe investment, then of course, you should think things through, and make a strategic plan.
If you fail, you try again, but what if you don't fail, and your idea becomes a real success?

Remember that no one but yourself have the right to judge you, as long as you are not hurting anyone. So be kind to yourself,be positive, and be your own biggest fan and supporter!
